Return Policy
We want you to love your Minimalist Folk Co. pieces. Please review our return policy carefully before requesting a return.
Return Window
You have 14** days after receiving your order** to request a return.
Once your return request is approved, you have 14 days to ship the item(s) back to us. If the return is not shipped within 5 days of approval, the return will be canceled. At that point, we can either ship the item(s) back to you at your expense or donate the item(s) on your behalf.
Store Credit Only
We do not accept returns for refunds. Eligible returns are issued as store credit only.
We do not offer item-for-item exchanges due to the difficulty of keeping inventory in stock. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the eligible item for store credit and place a new order.
Store credit expires 90** days from the date it is issued**.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit:

Misprint items

Seasonal items returned within 20 days of the respective holiday

International orders once shipped
All sale items are considered final sale.
Returned items that are currently on sale, if accepted, will receive store credit for the item’s current sale price.
We do not offer price adjustments for items purchased before a sale or promotion.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for return, items must be:

Unworn and unused

In the same condition you received them

Free of odor, stains, damage, pet hair, or signs of wear

Returned with original tags attached

Returned in original packaging, when applicable
Minimalist Folk Co. reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet these requirements.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, please use the “Start a Return” link located in the menu at the bottom of our website.
Your return request must be submitted and approved before sending any item(s) back. Please do not mail items back without approval.
Once your return is approved, you will receive return instructions through the return process.
Returns sent without approval may be rejected. If we receive an unapproved return, we will contact you with your options. You may choose to pay for shipping to have the item(s) returned to you, or we can donate the item(s) on your behalf.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend shipping your return with tracking. Tracking is required because we cannot process a return if the package has not been received and tracking is unavailable.
Shipping and postage costs are non-refundable.
Minimalist Folk Co. is not responsible for lost return packages.
Unapproved or Rejected Returns
If we receive a return that was not approved in advance, or if the returned item does not meet our return requirements due to wear, odor, damage, missing tags, or any other reason, we will contact you with your options.
You may choose to pay for shipping to have the item(s) returned to you, or we can donate the item(s) on your behalf.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@minimalistfolk.co so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Local Pickup Orders
For local pickup orders, you have 14 days to pick up your order after receiving the “ready for pickup” email.
If your order is not picked up within 14 days, we will cancel the order and issue store credit for the same amount.
International Orders
International orders are considered final sale once shipped and are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit.
Minimalist Folk Co. is not responsible for duties, taxes, customs fees, or import charges for orders shipped outside the United States. International customers are responsible for any import charges required by their country.
Lost Packages, Incorrect Addresses, and Shipping Insurance
Minimalist Folk Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once they have been handed over to the shipping carrier.
We offer shipping insurance with every order. To protect your package, please make sure to select shipping insurance at checkout.
If shipping insurance is not selected, Minimalist Folk Co. is not responsible for replacing, refunding, or issuing store credit for lost, stolen, or missing packages.
Minimalist Folk Co. is also not responsible for packages lost due to misspelled names, incorrect addresses, incomplete addresses, or customer entry errors at checkout.
